Yee Haw - 3G iPhone is 4 months away

Following overseas meetings with members of the Taiwanese PC and consumer electronics supply chain, analysts for investment bank Citigroup said they have high convictions that Apple intends to roll out a 3G iPhone during the second quarter of the year.

Thanks Brian for the IM!

Apple TV "Take 2" Upgrade Complete!

In your AppleTV menu, go to Settings > Software Update. It takes about 10 minutes, but once it's done it's just amazing to see what you have at your fingertips.

My favorite addition is the searching by TV network. The list most every network in a Front Row index and it's amazing what I found, especially all the TV shows that I used to watch as a kid.

Thanks to Brian Marsalli for the leak.

Mac vs. PC: Displaying the file/directory structure

Since the start of the year, I have been been developing more on my MacBook Pro, but still having Windows XP, by running Parallels, and I am having one big problem between the two.

The file structure display.

Mac OS X alphabetically sorts the directories and the static files all together into one tree.

I hate this and I think it's just because I have been used to the PC for all these years. IMHO, directories should be organized together and static files should be organized together as below.

Does anybody have any MAC OS tips, online resources, or applications that will help me with this problem? Is this just a UNIX vs. PC thing or am I just missing something here?

Apple TV Take 2

FINALLY! It's here! The AppleTV update that I have been waiting for, and now I have a big screen that I can view it with.

Simply put, this is the Netflix killer. Mark my words. Apple could not have said it any better.

Want to rent a movie? Just grab the remote. With Apple TV, you don't need a computer to rent digital movies -- you rent them directly from your TV. The completely redesigned Apple TV interface makes it easy to browse, rent, and watch movies from every major Hollywood studio. Best of all, you get instant movie gratification. Without losing your spot on the sofa.

For all you Apple TV legacy owners, like me, there is a free software update, then after that you can rent HD movies from the same place you watch them -- your widescreen TV. YAY!

Though I have a one huge problem. I have to find the remote for it. Max probably ate it.

I will keep you updated on my progress.
