Simply put it was an awesome day, but just a horrible boring race. Tony finished 7th which broke my streak. You see, the last two races I attended Tony won them both. I guess all good things must come to an end.

Good to hang out with the Dave, Grant, Mike, Denver, Eric, and Anthony and to get a behind the scenes tour of the Fox Sports television world by Mr. Colby Bougeois. Thanks Diva, Banker, and whatever else your co-workers call you!

I was pretty upset about the loss of Dan Patrick from ESPN Radio, but today is a new replacement for his afternoon time slot.

Welcome to The Mike Tirico Show.

I have always been a fan of Tirico. I like his voice and the way he speaks about the items at hand. The MNF gig has definitely helped him with his career.

His first guest today? The man - Bob Costas. Mike's co-hosts will include Scott van Pelt, Kirk Herbstreit and Michele Tafoya.
