Many of you know that I fly quite a bit, especially during the summer. Well as of this month, things have changed in my air travel.
The Drum Corps International offices moved from Chicago to Indianapolis and for the past five years I have been a Premier United member for the past four years with about 75% of my travel to Chicago.
Now after the move, if I was to remain on United I would have to connect through Chicago then fly to Indy. My thought in traveling, is the more layovers the more delays, so staying on United just wasn't the best move for me.
The CSR's at Continental were extremely easy and very knowledgeable with this scenario. All I had to do is provide them my United Premier Card, my 2007 account breakdown, and my last statement. I gathered the documentation, signed and sealed the envelope and sent it to the Continental One Pass Service Center.
Today, I received confirmation that my complimentary Silver One Pass Elite Access took effect.
I am looking forward to flying on Continental this year, but I am already missing the extra the five inches of leg room.
