Yesterday, I was looking for some Cat 5 and while at the computer store I was gagging over how much it was. I then officially decided it was time for the DIY approach.

I bought a 100' roll of Cat5E, a crimper, and connectors and wholla, below is my first creation. All these tools was less than forty dollars. That will last me around the house for a good year.

Isn't that a nice solid three foot Category 5E cable. Your jealous aren't ya?
